Hey everyone!

So about those new powers we got at the end of January: The Doll got a new one too!

The details about it can be found in her permission post, HERE , but the gist of it is that the Plain Doll appears as an inanimate object to people without a certain amount of insight into the supernatural. To people who do have some level of insight, she appears as a living/animated doll with ability to move and speak.

That's basically just a rule of thumb, though, I don't intend to be too strict about the boundaries on this, so it's entirely up to you guys as to whether your characters can see the Doll or not.


That being said, I'd really appreciate it if you could respond to my permissions post and let me know whether or not your characters can see her! This power is mostly just for weird fun and the potential for some misunderstandings, but it's still important that I know who can see her and who can't. Thanks!

Introduction

Heyo! My name is Ruby and I just wanted to drop a quick intro post to say hello. I'm going to be playing Lady Maria from Bloodborne. The Doll was actually made to resemble her in body, voice, and gesture. Confusion will abound as people run into these two, I'm sure (and very excited for!)

In short, she's a distant character whose a fierce warrior, but a compassionate comrade to those in need. She's very willing to help others, even if her personality is outwardly cold. She's very formal and will likely refer to most individuals she meets with Sir or Lady, as she grew up among the nobility of her world.

I'm very open to tagging anybody and everybody, but I admit I'm going to be 100% canon blind to most things. Maria isn't open to any shipping, but she'll mentor the heck out of anybody who she feels needs it. She's very concerned with honor and doing what's right. She won't ask questions before attacking, if she discovers someone is up to no good. Overall, she should be pretty helpful, as she's very skilled in combat against all kinds of horrible things.

i'm lance and this is han of star wars fame. he wished to escape from a) smuggling-related debts which led to having bounties on his head; and b) the frightening responsibilities of being a war hero, so now he's here in nyoi-cho being... useless. :3TL he comes from space and tries to act cool but is actually a huge stupid loser which isn't his fault, but you know. he's a regular human for the most part who has regular human limitations and will highly likely bitch about nightmares while he's in the middle of them for some rare value only he sees. here's his app and info post!

this is my first dw game ever and i've only been playing han for a little bit over a week, but that short experience has admittedly been extremely enlightening. i'm still trying to get a feel for this whole thing, but everyone seems nice and i'm glad the game is small enough that i won't get overwhelmed or anything. :') a fun fact is that my han rp inspiration playlist whatever you call it is full of only japanese songs!

also i tossed han into the cr meme if that's up anyone's alley! but also do add me on plurk (hontontoko) and stuff if you'd like to ooc talk about... anything, haha. i only have like 2 friends on there cos i honestly don't know how to work plurk either
