Hey everyone, I'm McGwiggles (or Gwiggs, if you prefer the shortened version) and I am bringing in The Plain Doll from Bloodborne!

She's a very sweet, life-sized doll who used to live in a parallel dimension where monster hunters go to rest. She's very kind, and has love in her heart for all the humans she meets. She's not opposed to warming up to non-humans as well, though! It's just that that particular love just isn't how she was created to feel.

The Doll's canon is still fairly recent, and it just got a DLC that gives a little bit of insight into her origin, so if you would like to opt-out of spoilers, there's a post for that here.

Well the "cinnamon roll" part might be arguable. It's not really clear how much she knows about everything that's going on, and she might be keeping some important knowledge away from the player character.

If you ignore that part, though, she is very sweet. Albeit in a sort-of creepy way. To be honest, I'm sort of hoping that another character will think she's one of the creepy NPCs for a while

You really should! It's a good, beautiful game and the new DLC adds a bunch to the story and a SHITLOAD of cool new weapons.

lmao hopefully pretty well? The Doll definitely means well, even if she isn't entirely forthright with everything she knows.

To be honest, I'm sort of hoping that a few characters will think she's another creepy Nyoi-Cho NPC and treat her as such. Is that something you think Kongou might do?

Poor Plain Doll can't escape the NPC life, even when she's actually a real player character

WELL HONESTLY KONGOU probably would. But she'd still invite her in to drink tea or... something! Even if the Doll tells her she's, you know, a doll, Kongou won't judge! (No, actually, she'll start chanting prayers very loudly to expel her if she happens to be an evil spirit.)

The NPC life is a harsh one...

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, KONGOU. Fortunately I don't think an exorcism or anything like that would expel the Doll, but she is free to try.

She'll probably apologize when it doesn't work tbh.
