The end of the month has arrived, and that means it's time for activity check. To pass AC, players need to type up a short paragraph explaining what their character has spent the month doing. Please provide links alongside your paragraph so that moderators can easily verify that said activity exists. Character: Caesar Zeppeli
Activity: Accepted this month, so just checking in! Even so, in short: Caesar returned early this past month and promptly tried to figure out what the heck happened and how long he was out (x). He found Madoka shortly after (x), apparently having returned herself, and was put simultaneously in big brother and not-grandpa mode by her and by Kakyoin's frail state. He also met Mohammed Abdul, one of Jojo's and Kakyoin's travel companions whom he recognized from a photograph (x). Because of RL obligations I haven't done much during the event with him, although until the boss battles began he has just been trying to get his life in Nyoi-cho back together. You know. Until the fights began.
Character: Aradia Megido
Activity: Also checking in since she was accepted recently! I've had a little less time with her (read above; RL obligations) but she made a pretty flashy intro of her own, rambling on about wanting to know more about the place. She met Madoka almost right way and had a very teary reunion with Sollux (tune in for more sweet, sweet pain shortly enough) and got away with calling Dave a "dork" so that was cool. I had planned for her to go back to ghost!Aradia mode during the event, personality-wise, but since I haven't had much time to work on it, that'll probably be backtagged. Character: Mettaton
Activity: ((I know I only need to check in, but I think it would be good practice to write it in paragraph form too.))
Upon arriving in Nyoi-Cho, Mettaton's first tasks included testing his transformation, finding his home, sprucing it up, and then finally using his full-wall bedroom mirror to introduce himself to everyone* and ask them a little about themselves! During this time, he learned that another monster was in the city--Asriel Dreemurr*. After a little bit of talking, they decided to team up so that Asriel could teach Mettaton the particulars of being magi, and maybe they could figure out what his powers were!*
Their fresh camaraderie was put to the test when a witch caused Asriel to start behaving nastily towards Mettaton*, and after putting two and two together, he realizes what's been causing it is the "Nightmare" whose labyrinth entrance was located in the library!
Thus far, he has been trying his hardest to exact justice and set things "right." (which is all over the boss battle, no point linking those tbh, they're still going on)

Character: Azula
Activity: Azula returned from another month spent gone native and questioned people about what she missed. She also found herself having some banter with Sollux which surprised her. Perhaps they'll form a true friendship yet? Once the witch began to take effect Azula explored the dungeon with Lemmy and Madoka finding nothing of use, however she found herself more sympathetic towards Lemmy then she had been before. She also took time out of her patrol to try and jog Alice's memories about who she was supposed to be rather then who she was acting like. Finally during the boss fight Azula showed up incredibly late and threw more fire at the rabbit.
Character: Sandy Marko
Activity: Upon returning from her time spent native, Sandy asked what she had missed and Raven caught her up on the current events. Then unfortunately once the witch started effecting people Sandy reverted to an earlier more cowardly version of herself, finding herself unable to stand up to Pokey, and even abandoning Chat Noire when he tried to save her from the clockwork minions. Later when the witch's labyrinth appeared she couldn't even bring herself to enter it until Chat Noire talked her into it. Inspired by his forgiveness when the floor began to give way beneath them Sandy sacrificed herself to save him finally rediscovering her courage.

Character: Raven Queen
Activity:
So with August being awful, Raven's really needed to think a lot of stuff over. Relaxing at the beach and making new friends definitely helped. While she was still bitter about what happened, she tried her best to explain how things worked to the new ones, while they in turn sometimes cheered her up. But now that she knew death was cheap, she tried to take advantage of it, such as trying to help Dave Strider with an explosive issue. She also helped Sandy catch up with what happened.
After having a little bonding time with Pokey, she tried not to have an headache with Aria.Thankfully Mohammed reminded her that some new ones are more of a help than a hindrance. Well, not all of them, but still! Effort! More importantly, Madoka woke up, when Raven didn't even know she'd gone missing.
Then came the September event! After seeing a 'Undone' Pokey, Sayo and Alice, she tried to warn her friends ASAP. At the boss battle, she tried to both save the books and the NPCs, and then used her mirrors as a shield to protect the cabin and Madoka. (Mostly Madoka.)

Activity: Last month was something. Taking a while to regain her bearings, Shinoa went to the beach party (x) where she talked to both Ryoko and Sollux (x). She also found the opportunity to tease Adrien about his uniform (x).
When the event started, she bumped into a changed Asriel (x), prompting her to start a mirror discussion (x); on the mirrors she also talked with Kakyoin (x) about investigating the school. During the bossfight Shinoa went through quite the trial having her scythe frozen (x) while hacking futilely at the boss, among other things, before presumably being knocked out of action for the end part of the battle. Poor Shinoa.

Character: Yozora Mikazuki
Activity: Activity this month has been pretty spotty, frankly. For most part, she was attending school, but otherwise she's been being a little helpful to a newcomer and also has also been a little less helpful towards a certain cool kid. Later in the week itself, she also played a prank on the same newcomer that she helped before. Naughty, naughty.
Later on, when the witch game into existence, she poked at Kyouko's change in demeanor, checked in with Ryoko about the dungeon beneath the school, discussed the possibility of using a house as a prison, and ticked off another magi. Then, she upon hearing about an expedition to the dungeon, decided to pop in order to look around without exposing herself to too much danger.

Character: Noriaki Kakyoin (AU)
Activity: Kakyoin started off the month by reconnecting with Caesar, who he initially thought was the result of another labyrinth. Not long after that he tried to help Dave with a slight problem and met with a parallel version of his friend Abdul. Once the event started, Kakyoin resolved to investigate the source of the whirring sound and eventually discovered it with Ryoko.
When the eventual bossfight came around, Kakyoin carried Asriel up a flight of stairs, made his best efforts to strategize, and as per usual did a lot of really stupid things.
And then it pulled time stop out of its hat (get it, rabbit jokes) and he did not take it well. Eventually a solution was presented by Raven and Ryoko. After the fight and following power nap on the floor of the library, Kakyoin ended up in the hospital where he told the city about the underground timer and spoke to Sachiko. Later at home he gave up on secrecy and actually started talking about himself, as well as trying to form a plan for what to do next. A couple nights later he talked to Bulleta about her role in what could be charitably termed 'a clusterfuck', and accepted Mettaton's apology for a mess of yakety sax proportions.

Character: Lemmy Koopa
Activity: Lemmy's month started off easily enough. He greeted Mettaton, was in awe of the COOLEST SKATEBOARD, and found out a real live space captain had come to town! Things got a little more serious when he helped Madoka realize she was missing a week. He also helped fill in Azula about what she missed last month and went into the dungeon with her and had a conversation about extra lives.
Lemmy wasn't much help in the boss fight as usu- oh wait HE ACTUALLY WAS USEFUL THIS TIME! At opening doors and finding bodies. He also made an attempt at cheering up Madoka in the middle of a bunch of general horror. He picked up the grief seed but he really shouldn't be trusted with it....

Character: B.B. Hood
Activity: Having spent most of her time post-game to herself, the hunter started off the month battling her inner self, figuring out who she was and shutting away a different part of her. After a while, she noticed the grief seed she had starting to make noise, and contacted Sachiko about it. With the fear of failure riding high in her, she proceeded to continuiously hit up Nightmares, half distracting herself from the goal while being distracted by other magi as well. Eventually, it ended poorly for everyone. With yet another lease on life, she reconnected with an old friend, and before sealing herself away until Tsukudo-cho, attempted to reconnect some memories.
Character: Ryoko Asakura
Activity: So, things went bad last month. With that in mind, Ryoko immediately started off trying to pull everyone back together, throwing an end of summer/recouperation beach party. Whether or not it worked, who knows. Though most of the month was spent playing catchup, that all ended once the event hit and the whirring became underneath the school. With Ryoko deciding to go investigate the soldiers first, she ran into Kyouko and things went sour after a while. That only pushed her to keep going, and following Kakyoin, she broke into the elevator in the dungeon and discovered something bad was going to happen next month.
She threw everything she had into helping out with the boss battle, and finally, has started to rest after so much going on. But, it probably won't last long. There's something to prepare for, after all.

Character: Dave Strider
Activity: Dave's month started with him receiving his Unreal Air in a package. He sent out a mirror message asking if anyone else had received anything, fearing that it was a possible trap. Then he took it out for a spin, which was a terrible decision that ended in him getting stuck in a tree and having to be saved. After that, he said hi to Aradia. When the Witch appeared, he climbed a bunch of stairs with Kakyoin.
Character: Kyouko Sakura
Activity: Kyouko was reverted to an earlier canonpoint by the Witch and spent most of this month trying to be helpful. She hunted familiars with the other magi and tried her best to find the Witch. When a group of people fell under the Witch's influence and tried to burn the library to the ground, she teamed up with Madoka to stop them. After the Witch was defeated, she went back to normal.
Character: Ellen
Activity: Ellen's month began with her greeting Adrien over the mirrors. Ellen asked Adrien about Kyuubey, then filled him in a little on what had been happening before he arrived in town. After that, she put up an appeal for cooperation on the bulletin board in an attempt to gather information. Needless to say, she's got some ulterior motives for the way she's acting.

Character: Asriel Dreemurr
Activity:
After a rough August, Asriel began his September with a little bit of beach fun at a bonfire, where he chatted with Kakyoin about different languages, and asked Ryoko about Halloween. A few days later, Asriel was in for a shock when he discovered a familiar face from home making a flashy entrance over the mirror network. After dodging questions like it was a sports game, Asriel agreed to show Mettaton how things worked around here. The two of them attempted to take on a Nightmare together so that Mettaton could discover his powers. Afterwards, Asriel had a talk about soul stealing with Abdul.
Unfortunately, September didn't give Asriel much room to relax. After an unfortunate encounter with a Witch, Asriel was reverted back to the mind of Flowey, fresh off of a genocide run. While struggling between being Flowey and Asriel, the results were ugly, as he lashed out at both friends and fellow magi. After Asriel had some time to calm down, he wound up stumbling into a boss fight in which he tried stealing the rabbit's hammer. It failed when Asriel choose to attack, and he ended up focusing all of his efforts on helping Kakyoin rescue Mettaton from some very stubborn grass. After the defeat of the boss, Asriel was returned to normal - but remembered all he did as his short time as Flowey. He was calmed down by Pokey, who reassured him of their friendship, and Mettaton, who was having his own doubts as a magi. Asriel then makes and fulfills a promise to explain to Mettaton what had happened to him before Asriel made his wish and contract with Kyubey. Asriel also agrees to help Kakyoin investigate a countdown timer.

Character: Madoka Kaname
Activity: Madoka was droned for the first full week of September, though she got better. Then the bunny happened, and she met a kinder Kyouko, along with an angrier Asriel and a maddened Alice, among others. She also tried to find the source of the noise with Azula, but without success.
When the Witch finally showed itself. Madoka and Kyouko blocked off the natives from burning the library down, before confronting the Witch. Madoka was severely injured on Level 20 of the tower, and used what little power she could spare to help stabilize and save Lilith in the final level cabin. She ended up in the hospital for her efforts, where she learned that Bonnie was alive, and Kakyoin purified her Soul Gem with a familiar item.
During this month, Madoka also met Mettaton, Aradia, Eridan, and Yugi.

Activity:
After the craziness of last event, Alice decided she would answer that with her own sort of approach: an attempt at being social at the beach, and even managed, in a completely unrelated outfit, to find a new friend. Said new friend and Alice went on a trip, and Alice began to find herseldf getting back into the groove of things.
Of course, then the new event happened, and Alice lost herself completely. Adding she and her new friend falling in their delusions, it is an altogether not fun experience for Alice. She managed to pull herself together to at least assist later, only to feel like a complete fool fool later. She also has a brief conversation with someone new.

Character: Pokey Minch
Activity:
Pokey started this month by attending the beach party where he kept up his habit of talking Kakyoin's ear off and hanging out with Raven. He later got a care package blast from the past and ended up swinging between shutting down and moving on for a bit, with the latter winning. Surprisingly, he was one of the few people nice enough to not try and tell Adrian that wearing a skirt is mandatory.
He'd meet Abdul later on, finding out the man was a friend of Kakyoin and encouraging him to go speak to Kakyoin. During the event this month, Pokey would revert to his canon state, managing to be a real piece of shit throughout. He'd feel like crap about it afterwards, and do what he could to help including comforting Asriel. Some reassuring words from Ryoko would help him to move on after the event was over himself instead of just beating himself up.
Angry at the guy beating himself up again, Pokey would talk with Kakyoin after the event was over. Near the end of the month, he would test out his teleportation like a turbonerd.

Activity: Chiaki returned to Nyoi-Cho at the end of September! She got right back into detective work with Ellen and with Kakyoin. On the side, she discussed the witch's fight with Mettaton and powers with Aria.

Character: Sollux Captor
Activity: The end of August had Sollux becoming a nightmare, so reasonably at the beginning of September things looked pretty grim. Having been killed literally everytime he went outside in August, Sollux felt uncomfortable going out by himself.[1] He depended on Madoka a lot to help get things done. He ended up at the beach party because of her where he was distinctly not himself.[2] In greeting new magi he was grim and apathetic. [3,4] Running into Bonnie in town was when he hit a new low.[8] Madoka's disappearance effected him even more so.[1] However, the arrival of Eridan and Aradia marked a turning point for him.[5,6] With Eridan he came to realize how much he was letting his fear control him.[7] With Aradia he realized how skewed his self-perception really was.[6] He laid low during the event, memories of the dungeon and fears of slowing the others down weighing on his mind. Seeing Chiaki coming back after having Aradia enter and Madoka return has made him a bit more hopeful of the future.[9] Also him and Azula were weird at each other.[10]

Character: Jin Uzuki (AU)
Activity: With the danger of the Happiness Theory game over, Jin decided to properly introduce himself to his fellow Magi, earning the interest of Eridan, who was looking for someone to teach him close combat skills. They agreed to meet at some point at the library, where Jin had taken up work as his day job. As part of his effort to get to know his new allies, he also spoke to Azula about the events she'd missed after a month of having gone native and learned that Kyuubey had evaded people's attempts to get answers from it.
When the clockwork Witch appeared, Jin fell victim to it and reported difficulty thinking about recent events in his history, though he failed to notice the change this caused in his behavior...until, that is, dealing with Pokey helping the Witch's thralls destroy the library highlighted the difference to him. Nonetheless, he joined the battle against the Witch, ultimtely seeing his more experienced allies discover the path to victory...but, unfortunately, not before the brainwashed natives did serious damage to the library's stock.

A conversation with Eridan had Pyrrha wondering whether aura works in this world like in Remnant, but she has not gotten the opportunity to test that out yet. She has also offered to go out into the field with Jin if ever he needed assistance.
She has also met Viola and agrees that the network is not the most secure place to share information. Not without knowing more about the bigger picture and certainly not trusting who the real puppet master is of this world.
