Character: Pokey Minch Wish/Powers:His wish and power information can be found here. Info: Pokey Minch is a mean, shitty little asshole who really only cares about himself and is in it for his own personal gain. Or at least, that's more or less who he was before he went through five years of hopping between worlds and games, usually getting to suffer the pain and malice he usually wished on other people. That kind of experience, and meeting people who seemed to want to care about him, has changed him greatly. If you're really interested in seeing all he's gone through and how it's changed him, you can check out his history from his app here. In short though, while Pokey is still often selfish and interested in self-gain and keeping himself safe, he's learned humanity and empathy thanks to his travels. He can be standoffish and self-aggrandizing, though the last part is more or less a mask he puts on now to try and keep others from getting too close to him. While he still doesn't immediately like people a lot of the time, he's gotten to a point where he understands there's an inherent value to life, and that it's worth protecting whether he knows the person or not. While he usually isn't too interested in getting to know many people deeply due to the fact he's sure that he'll end up letting them down or they will (rightfully, in his mind) just hate him in the end, he is willing to try and help protect people and keep them from getting hurt by places like this.
During the event itself, Pokey will start off by wandering like a lost asshole, trying his best to avoid outright conflict with the familiars. So if anyone would like to run into a fat sixteen year old while he's trying to defend himself with the newly found shield he has or would even just like to point and laugh at him during his ass whooping, feel free to do that. Otherwise, when he finds other people he'll do what he can with the powers he has, as he figures them out, to protect them.
In general, Pokey will want to help set people up with information as fast as he can. He'll try to open a discussion about places like this and give what he knows about previous worlds he's been in, as well as attempt to help make suggestions on getting shit organized among the people who've been drawn in. Pokey may not be a friendly person, but he's big on solidarity when it comes to people forced into these situations thanks to Mayfield. Considering he was pals with him in Cosmos, Pokey will also probably often be found hanging around Dave Strider a lot and Gary, I guess. Seeking: Pretty much anything. People that can try and get under the dude's defenses, people that he can get pissy and angry at. Other people he can whine about feelings of self-loathing and regret about. Just give me anything. Gimme it all. Anything else: Tagging schedule is going to be balls to the wall all over the place a bit since my work thinks it's fun to fuck me about by putting me wherever sometimes. Usually I'll be tagging in the late evenings in the Central timezone.
