Introduction
Hey guys. I'm Bill! I'm going to be playing Garviel Loken from the Horus Heresy, which is a sort of background canon for the more well known Warhammer 40k, aka the game/rpg/videogame universe that is universally well known as one of the most violent and over the top things ever.
I'm super open to tagging, though i'm not as fast as I used to be as I have a busy schedule, but I will backtag together and boomerang like a madman on weekends if I'm not at a LARP (I do those once a month, but I'll put up a thing on plurk) Speaking of plurk, I'm at Grimdork. Feel free to add me for communication or if you want to talk about really nerdy sci fi or anime or all the other stuff that I quickly go all fanboy over.
Garviel is a fairly reserved guy who is from a canon that's all about war, and is more or less confirmed by the original creators to be a heavy metal space version of a retelling of Paradise lost. He's thoughtful, a brilliant warrior and tactician, an inspiring leader if need be, and deeply, horribly psychologically scarred by the things he's been through.
He also dislikes aliens and magic, which raises some interesting questions about why he chose to go along with this deal....
