Theory Time! RE: Game NPC Setting

A couple of things jumped out at me while I was looking at the pictures being posted for the game part of the event:

1.) As Star also pointed out, the background is a snowy area. A small village with a resort perhaps. Geez, I wonder why that might sound familiar...

2.) Looking at the icon for the new NPC in Tsukudo-Cho, I noticed that her hair is very similar to the NPC figure in the game. With the backdrop so similar to how Tsukudo-Cho is described, I can't help but think this is not a coincidence. The interesting thing is that we have two NPCs in the game while, so far, there only seems to be the one NPC girl over in Tsukudo-Cho.

Any thoughts?

Part of my thought is that the NPCs over in Tsukudo-cho will be one of the ways we in Nyoi-cho end up interacting/helping those in Tsukudo-cho. That is, the inputs and actions we put in will directly affect the actions of the NPCs over in Tsukudo-cho.

Well... We need more information! They have to start operating the console to know exactly what the links between the game NPC and the person in Tsukudo-cho is.

Tricky stuff! It's possible that the NPC will move in accordance to the console, but it's a little too early to say for sure at the moment.

I can't think much at the moment, but I can add more information!

1.) NPCs in the game are Miyu and Yoko.

2.) NPC in Tsukudo-Cho is calling herself Miyuki Okanoue. The first part of her name (Miyu) matchs with the first NPC in the game who has ice skills and seems to be the higher 'leveled' of the two.

I told her I didn't know and that I didn't think about such things, but in truth I was embarrassed.

I feel a little bad about it, but I laughed when she told me. She had such a serious look on her face I was afraid she would tell me something terrible, but it was just that.

SLAMS HANDS ON THE TABLE

OKAY SO LET'S DISCUSS WHAT WE HAVE SO FAR FROM THE TSUKUDO-CHO SIDE.

So we have our NPC, Miyuki Okanoue. From the threads she's had so far, here's a few bits of information that we've gotten.

-She's suffering from amnesia, as she can't remember much from three years prior.
-The town has changed in that time period: from the people in the town, to her parents.
-Something Bad happens when the temperature drops sharply. Everything starts rotting away, and anyone caught in that become empty shells of who they once were.
-Miyuki has no semblance of knowledge of 'monsters' around the town, and the thread with Adrien corroborates this with her not recognizing the name or description of Kyuubey.
-There's someone who she feels like was important to her, who isn't around.

SO. Combine this with the diary entries from above, as well as a thread between Kakyoin and Sachiko, here's a few theories I can hash out.

-The first diary entry says that spelled in the western alphabet, the girls names are one letter apart. With the name "Mizuki" cropping up from Sachiko Hatsu's side of the cell phone, it's safe to say that it involves Miyuki and Mizuki.
-With that in mind, as the fourth diary entry begins with "Mizuki asked me a question", Miyuki is the person who wrote these diary entries.
-As per the fourth and fifth diary entries, as well as Kakyoin and Adrien's conversations with Miyuki regarding possible monsters and Kyuubey, it'd be safe to infer that there's a strong possibility that not only is Miyuki not a magi, she never was one.
-The first entry was written with childlike handwriting. All following entries, save for the third one, are flowery and uniform. Therefore, the first one could have very definitely been written years prior to all of the other diary entries.
-Unless there's some weird timeline bullshit going on here, Miyuki is not the person who wrote the diary entry from May, that referred to Ayase. That being said--
-The third entry of course. This is the most speculative one of all, but considering for a moment that Mizuki became a magi and she has an eye injury, there's a strong possibility that the eyepatch girl from the NOROICHO.AVI video is Mizuki.

Once again, all theories, and also a partial summary of what's going on! If anyone has anything to add, please lemme know.

It seems that neither Witches nor Nightmares exist there. Instead, beings known as "Wraiths" inhabit the area.

All data has suggested that Wraiths do not kill humans. In addition to that, it seems that unlike Witches and Nightmares, they are not preoccupied with negative emotions. Wraiths consume all emotions indiscriminately, until their victim is left with nothing. They seem to derive their powers from these emotions - data has even shown that they're able to extract emotions from items of sentimental value and garner power from these items.

Since the town has no active magi population, no data has been collected on their combat capabilities thus far.

A quick question! Does the voice of the blacked out individual/the recorder sound like any that could have been in previous videos?

The voice isn't an exact match for any voice that the magi have heard before, but it sounds markedly similar to the voice of the person who filmed this video, minus a few years of age.

One week ago, a batch of magi suddenly appeared in a town that hadn't contained a magi population in quite some time. However, as of writing this, every single magi has disappeared just as suddenly as they'd appeared.

This doesn't make any sense.

Needless to say, setting foot in that town would be unwise at this juncture.
