Activity Check
(November 26-December 2)
The end of the month has arrived, and that means it's time for activity check. To pass AC, players need to type up a short paragraph explaining what their character has spent the month doing. Please provide links alongside your paragraph so that moderators can easily verify that said activity exists. If you were accepted in the month of November or were on hiatus for at least two weeks, you need only check in by replying to this post. Character: Osomatsu Matsuno
Activity: just checking in, though Osomatsu has been active! he arrived in Nyoi-cho and met up with his brother. He's been sticking close to Karamatsu because he's still not sure about how all of this works yet. then he attended the information meeting to try and learn a little more about this new world and his powers. will he find out that Karamatsu was a Wraith? dun dun dun.

Character: B.B. Hood
Activity: From her time in Tsukudo-cho, Bulleta was starting to feel completely and utterly hollow, having met Morrigan Aensland and herself-- the latter of whom completely started to wear her out as it was a reflection of who she used to be, as she insulted her directly to her face. Fighting nothing but Wraiths and collecting diary pages took its toll on her, and finally, she found herself shambling along in Tsukudo-cho. While she got irritated at those who came to her, she managed to get enough of herself back inside to flat out kill Morrigan-- a Wraith, attempting to corrupt her further. After killing her, she was filled with images and had the memory of what happened to her in August come back to her. With what was left, she shambled off to go kill the wraith with her face as well. In the end, her ultimate plan was to find and kill Miyuki Okanoue, but instead found a different Wraith holed up in the church. A wraith that escaped.
With the group showing up to take them back, she got on the train where she realized what she had to do when she went back. Killing Lilith for what she did. Upon returning to Nyoi-cho, the hunter known as both Bulleta and B.B. Hood returned to the mirrors, to set up an offer to those who need help getting from place to place. No one really took her up on her offer, but she keeps that in her head as she heads off on her true goal. In the dead of night, on the day that Lilith was to open her new chocolate shop to the public, Bulleta stalks and inevitably defeats Lilith, bringing her back to her home. From that point, like she had to Sollux, she spends the rest of the month torturing her and killing her over and over.
Needing information, she makes an appearance at the magi meeting but otherwise, keeps a low profile this month as she continues making herself feel better through torturing Lilith.
Character: Ryoko Asakura
Activity: When the magi received a mysterious message to go to Tsukudo-cho, despite the warnings, Ryoko made sure to make the trip. She wanted to bring everyone back safely, and wound up finding out more than she expected from Miyuki Okanoue. It seemed to be a lost cause, but she still decided to stay and help out any magi she found, even if they didn't want the help themselves. When the group returned to Nyoi-cho, Ryoko was called on by Kakyoin to take his notebook and keep track of the notes that he collected in Tsukudo-cho, trying to make sense of them.
With the notes in hand, Ryoko took to the mirrors to organize another meeting to try to consolidate all the information and come up with an idea for what should happen next. In the process she called Sachiko Hatsu to let her know that everything was fine and check up on the isolated magi herself. With it, she gained more ideas on what Wraiths could be, as well as realizing that she might be wrong about how the magi world works: it might actually be the cutthroat isolated world that she thought it'd be. Still, she wants to work together with the other magi and tries to figure out more about the world itself. That wound up with her speaking with Abdul about her wish, trying to figure out what made things different between the two.
Finally, Ryoko sets up the meeting and together with everyone else, gathers information.
Character: Karamatsu Matsuno
Activity: Checking in, new guy.

Character: Shinoa
Activity: At the start of the month, Shinoa went for some therapy (x) at Harley's place. She also talked with Bonnie (x) and, regrettably, Karamatsu (x). She contributed a summary of November's dungeon loot to the meeting (x), discussed its implications, and discovered that more than one Matsu brother exists (x).

Lemmy had a pretty low-key month! He kinda needed one after arriving home from Tsukudo-cho. He did manage to be annoying to at least one person, though. He of course made time for movie watching at Asriel's house and went to the mingle, but was really only there for the food.

Character: Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (Lancer)
Activity: Considering how unlucky Diarmuid usually is, he made it out of October surprisingly well. Of course, all that really meant was that he had the energy and the balanced mental state to know he needed to do more to hold things together while everyone else took time to recover. He started doing this as soon as people returned, taking to the streets early to make sure any Nightmares were taken care of. While hunting, he ran into Pokey, who was trying to make heads or tails of everything and listened while the young man talked. Not long afterward, he took Asriel up on the offer to find out what popcorn was and talked to Ryoko about what he could do to help organize the next meeting they were going to have to pool information.
Shortly before said meeting, Diarmuid ran into a face he never thought he would see again. Laurent was one of the people he talked to in Tsukudo-cho? How was he here and...not a wraith?
Once the meeting rolled around, Diarmuid put into action a plan he had talked about with Kakyoin to get Hatsu's number out to more of them so that it wouldn't be lost should the few that had it be incapacitated or 'transferred.' Much to his surprise, he found some people were actually very against the idea. Fortunately, despite the argument that broke out, there was no fight, and Ryoko didn't have to send anyone to time out. Once things settled down, he took time to talk with Ryoko and compare his notes to the ones she got from Kakyoin as well as throw around some theories that, deep down, he kind of wished he never thought of.
At the end the month, he spent some time with Mikleo. The young man managed to avoid most of what happened previously, but he isn't going to be quite so lucky when it comes to avoiding cooking disaster.
Character: Mohammed Abdul
Activity: Luck was not with Abdul as it was with Diarmuid. After having to kill the Wraith of Kakyoin's mother to save his friend and realizing the Polnareff he talked to in Tsukudo-cho was not who he seemed, the normally down to earth and well-balanced Abdul found himself quiet shaken. He should have talked to Kakyoin while they were on the train, but could not find the energy to do so. Fortunately, that conversation did come a few days later after Kakyoin made a post to share a lot of what they had learned. It was a difficult talk considering who they both talked to over there, but at the same time, both of them seemed to find some healing from the conversation. Whatever balancing came from that conversation, though, was thrown off again by a vision that Abdul never expected. While the vision held only the best of news, the theories and discussion that it brought about were only of the most serious sort.
Just how much power did one word have to change the future for an entire timeline?
When the magi meeting rolled around, Abdul was still trying to sort out everything to do with his vision and the events in Tsukudo-cho, so he listened more than he spoke. However, he did take some time to speak with Kakyoin about their Stands at the meeting, the lighter conversation actually doing a lot of good for his peace of mind.

Character: Princess Azula
Activity: Azula doesn't particularly care for the direction this town is taking and had a chat with Bonnie about the possibility of forming an elite squad of Magi to see if maybe multiple small leaders might work better then just the one massive mob of magic being thrown about. Also she was excited to find out about a gourmet chocolate store being opened up but she was disappointed to find it not in fact open when she arrived ready to pamper herself.
Character: Sandy Marko
Activity: Decidedly glad that she missed the chaos of going to the new town, Sandy was still a little worried about the weird Grief seed looking thing that she's had contained in her house for months. After all she doesn't want what happened to Bonnie happening to her. Kakyoin suggested she just keep an eye on it in case it does anything. Later in the month she met Karamatsu. She was unimpressed. Also she went to Asriel's movie night!
Character: Harley Quinn
Activity: by far Harley's greatest contribution this month was holding various psychiatric sessions with the various residents of town who came seeking her help. Her conclusion? You're all in desperate need of some help and she's just the crazy who can do it!

Character: Asriel Dreemurr
Activity:
Asriel spent a good chunk of November recovering from being possessed by Wraiths. He bounced back fairly quickly, and ended up talking to Lilith about her new chocolate shop. Asriel also expressed regret to Ryoko over not being able to collect enough information on Tsukudo-cho, which she comforted him in return. And later on in the month, he invited people over to his house for a movie night. He ended up talking about movies with Sandy, explaining popcorn to Diarmund, had Lemmy pretty much dive at his invitation, and had a serious talk with Madoka.

Character: Lilith
Activity: Lilith finally announced the opening of her new chocolate shop, Splendor Love! She invited everyone (except Bonnie) to come say hi and partake in the festivities and eat lots and lots of chocolate! It would have been a lot of fun, and a good chunk of Magi were interested in going, but unfortunately... the shop never opened. A certain someone paid her a visit and decided that they would have some quality bonding back home, whether Lilith wanted it or not.
She's died probably 4 more times by now.

Character: Madoka Kaname
Activity: Madoka didn't do much this month, outside of recovering from her broken arm and the events in October. She, however, had a meeting with Dr. Quinzel, got yelled at by Bonnie, and participated in the meeting called by Ryoko.

Character: Dave Strider
Activity: Dave's month started with him getting wrecked by multiple Wraiths disguised as people who meant a lot to him. It was a very emotionally crushing experience for him, and now trains are ruined for him forevermore. Upon returning to Nyoi-cho and probably sulking about it for a long while, Dave saw Karamatsu, one of the Wraiths he'd met in Tsukudo-cho, on the mirror network and talked to him. Through this conversation, he discovered that Karamatsu was no longer a Wraith, seeming to take this revelation in stride. After that, he went to the info consolidation meeting about Wraiths and was vaguely bitter and unhelpful.
Character: Kyouko Sakura
Activity: Kyouko saw Harley's network post offering counseling to the magi and went out of a conflicted, suppressed desire to have someone understand her and maybe even tell her she's not as horrible, irredeemable a person as she thought herself to be. It was a bit of a trainwreck, and all that can really be said is that counseling is not an easy job. After that, she went to the info consolidation meeting and tried to behave herself long enough to actually try to piece some things together. Mostly, though, she just insulted people.
Character: Ellen
Activity: She went to the meeting! She didn't go to Tsukudo-cho, though, and she wasn't present for the first dungeon exploration trip, so she mostly just did a lot of catching up. She tried to contribute to Shinoa's observations, and she took careful notes on what she learned before positing a few observations and theories of her own.
