Activity Check

Activity Check
(March 25-March 31)

The end of the month has arrived, and that means it's time for activity check. To pass AC, players need to type up a short paragraph explaining what their character has spent the month doing. Please provide links alongside your paragraph so that moderators can easily verify that said activity exists.

If you were accepted in the month of March or were on hiatus for at least two weeks, you need only check in by replying to this post.
If you are currently on hiatus, you can fill out AC after returning or get another player to fill out your AC for you.

This time around, we're asking for a little something extra! The taken page will soon undergo a revamp. For an idea of what it will look like, please see the example below:

Dave Strider
CRAU (played by Yue)
infoinbox

In order to pave the way for this, we will thus be requiring links to a 200x200 image of your character and an IC inbox.

Character: Kainé
Activity:
Kainé enters the game, coming into the aftermath of a Complete Clusterfuck. She quickly befriends Pokey due to not knowing shit about went down and his role in it. She also takes to shouting on rooftops at the obvious boss fight arena, which includes befriending Jimmy, blowing off Loken, and getting goaded into shouting even more by Bonnie. Oh, and she learned how to troll people on the internet.

Character: Dave Strider
Activity: When the site goes up, Dave panics and has no idea what to do. He ends up searching for Kagaku with Gary when Gary messages him. After that, he tries to get everybody to calm the hell down when they start an internet flamewar with the admin. He was less than pleased when he learned that people had decided to go down to the dungeon despite the site's warnings that both girls would be Witched if they tried anything. When Pokey took an impromptu poll on whether or not to head down to the elevator, he was firmly against it.

Ultimately, he spent most of his time trying to convince everybody not to do anything rash to get Miki and Hoshiko Witched, but when that failed and things went pearshaped, Dirk contacted him and convinced him to go to Bonnie's meeting. He chewed Mettaton out afterwards, then apologized for going too far. Sort of. He was less apologetic with Pokey, though.

Character: Jimmy Hopkins
Activity: When the site went up, Jimmy took to the mirrors to ask for more information on the situation after informing everyone that the bugs had regenerative capabilities. He met Pokey Minch, whom he decided he liked pretty well. When Pokey suggested that they vote, Jimmy proposed that they vote for Miki. He later met Kaine and attempted to explain the situation to her. Oh yeah, and now he's talking about mirrors with the devil.

Character: Ellen
Activity: When the site went up, Ellen gave approximately zero shits up until it seemed like maybe, just maybe, this had the possibility of screwing her over too. She then immediately took to the streets to find and kill Kagaku Yamashita, posting a threatening and guilt-trippy message to the bulletin board in order to warn others against trying to protect her; failing that, she decided she would vote. She ended up in several arguments as a result. When everything subsequently fell apart, she was livid. She's more or less given up on playing nicely as a result and has dropped the innocent girl act.

Character: Osomatsu Matsuno
Activity: Well, it's certainly been a trying month for this NEET. Osomatsu knew something weird was going on right from the get-go, when a message popped up on his mirror about killing girls. He decided he was going to stay out of the vote because he didn't know any of the girls, and didn't think he had been in Nyoi-cho long enough to make a decision. He and Karamatsu also decided that it would be best if they stuck together for the time being, so they started living in one house. Things were quiet for a few days, at least off the mirrors. Then he and Karamatsu witnessed Kagaku's death, and things just went completely downhill from there. The brothers fled to the train station, in hopes of getting out of the dangerous Nyoi-cho. They were pulled into the boss battle anyway on the 17th, and that was when Osomatsu saw his first Witch. he was scared at first, but got a pep talk from Bonnie. He screwed up a couple times, but was able to give the same pep talk to Karamatsu and hassle Dito before... He was taken out. Osomatsu stayed dead for a few days, until his soul gem pulsed back to life. He probably knows that he died, but he is trying not to think about it. Instead, he makes a vow to become stronger, for real this time, and begins training with Laurent. As the month draws to a close, Osomatsu is lying low and learning how to shitpost.

Player: Nao
Character: Noriaki Kakyoin [AU]
Activity:
Keeping things short(er) for the sake of my sanity, Kakyoin had a rough month. Among other things he found himself played like a damn fiddle with regards to Kagaku Yamashita's intentions, and out of some unholy cross of desperation and stubbornness went down into the dungeon trying to find a way to save Hoshiko and Miki. And died. Twice. After the second time he regenerated just in time to see everything go right to hell, ending up in the Witches' labyrinth and directing things as best he could. Which, as usual, had limited success. Eventually, he helped to get enough of a handle on things to get a chance to recover Miki's body.

Following the fight, he snapped at the other magi present out of a frustrated attempt to get them to stop bickering, which didn't work. Which in turn led to something just short of a nervous breakdown from the hopeless nature of the situation combined with the darkness of his Soul Gem. Once the latter was taken care of, he and Bonnie tried to figure out what to do going forward and reestablished contact with Miyuki Okanoue.

Apart from that, most of what he's done following the fight is talk sense into people and assemble a smaller team willing to work with him to try getting things done instead of fighting amongst each other and dissolving into a mess during a fight.

As much as he's trying to pull some of the others back together, he's recognized he probably has to pick himself back up from his lowest point, too.

Player: Chase
Character: B.B. Hood
Activity: When the event started, Bonnie stirred the pot, believing it'd be funny to see how everyone reacted to having to choose between killing a potential civilian (a creepy one, but a civilian at this point none the less) and two girls the town sworn to protect. As such, she offered her services: she'd absolutely kill whoever needed to be killed. Whether or not that was Kagaku Yamashita. However as the time progressed, a simple thought wormed its way into her fractured mind: the concept of not being alive, and not being human. At that point, she immediately thought that the administrator needed to die, and moreso, something needed to change. But moreso, it started to rock her faith in what she figured she was. In order to proceed on as a magi, she felt she needed to lose her memories. As such, she made a deal with a demon.

Part of that deal saw her head back into that dungeon with Lilith, meeting up with Kakyoin. As the two met their untimely demise, she saw fit to warn anyone left that things had gotten worse. Despite her warning, others still went in, and she found herself getting irritated when Pokey even bothered to ask their opinions having gone down into the dungeon again, suddenly backing down as he got to the apex. Then, things got worse. With Kakyoin dead and the threat of two Witches looming over their head, she decided to take the idea of survival over death and took over Kakyoin's role as captain. Not successfully naturally, though she did her part in making sure they defeated the Witches.

When it looked as if the magi were fractured, B.B. Hood met with Kakyoin to discuss what to do next as well as try to appeal to Miyuki Okanoue. In the end, while she's not trying to compromise who she is as a person and what she's doing, she made her decision. She's going to fight to stay alive, and forget the past in her own way.

Character: Ryoko Asakura
Activity: Ryoko, as she had in the past, opposed any idea of all kinds. The concept of killing anyone (presumably) innocent to protect her loved ones had already caused her issues in the past, and she didn't want to go through that again. The problem came when her faith in what was right was shaken. From on the bulletin boards. On the internet. At the meeting. As much as she wanted to do something, as much as she had thought she should find Kagaku Yamashita, she was accomplishing nothing but finding out how wrong she was.

It was hard for her to stay still. As everyone tried to figure out what to do, she stood by idle and unable to decide on what course of action to take. Finally settling on going with what Sachiko said to do and to save Miki Morikawa... but even so, she still wanted to help. When Pokey decided to go back into the dungeon, she offered her services but even then decided to back down. In the end, the most she could do was talk to Sachiko Hatsu and try to get her response. Which was to back down. In the end, that didn't happen. Ryoko felt angry and bitter, that her only effort during this entire ordeal turned out to not make a single bit of difference and altogether, she cursed Mettaton for it.

During the boss battle, Ryoko felt everything start to slip away and tried her hardest to keep herself going, getting herself rocked by explosions and getting hurt, in the process draining her soul gem to the bone trying to keep everyone else healed, trying to keep her closed space going, and in the end draining it away with her new aura-exuding ability. By the final blow, she tried to keep her closed space up just long enough, but was unable to do so against the explosions. Tired, drained, she collapsed next to the bodies and the grief seeds, her gem darkened and eventually purified by one of the seeds.

As of now, Ryoko Asakura has gone native-- and is headed home to Nyoi-cho soon enough.

Character: Karamatsu Matsuno
Activity: Karamatsu immediately took the news well. He didn't know what to do at all, faltering and deciding the best course of action would be to hide out with Osomatsu, while spilling the beans on what he knew about Witches. When the action started picking up, the Matsunos went running, and unfortunately couldn't keep themselves out of the action for too long. During the boss battle Karamatsu found himself in the thick of things, distracting the familiars and nearly getting his head cut off for it-- and ultimately getting knocked out via a large explosion. When he came to, he was surprised to himself alive... and less than thrilled to find that his brother hadn't survived.

With both of them having a new lease on life, a decision is made. Try to become at least a marginal amount helpful, and more importantly to Karamatsu: protect his brother.

Character: Dito
Activity: Dito shows up in the middle of the voting. After Gary explains what the internet is and he has some time to figure it out, he immediately goes to the admin and asks if he can vote for both girls. He also takes the time to insult Ryoko's faith in her friends. Shortly thereafter, he insults Kakyoin for going into the dugeons. After that he finally gets an explanation of what this world entails from Diarmuid.

When Mettaton comes forward Dito expresses his approval for the choice and outlines how hypocritical he thinks the rest of them are.

He and Gary commiserate over their chances during the meeting to decide what to do. He insults Laurent for his previous defense of Madoka.

During the bossfight, Dito YOLO'D THE FUCK out of the fight. Inadvertently triggering a second one to descend from the skies. Pissing Bonnie and Laurent off and snapping at Kakyoin for his battle tactics. After being talked down by Lucifer he opts to sit back, mocking Kakyoin from afar and threatening Osomatsu. Once he's gotten permission to attack, Dito throws himself into it with every intention of murdering the witches and then maybe Bonnie and Kakyoin afterwards.

After an unsuccessful attempt at killing the witch named Kaguyahime, they realized that she had left the other witch unprotected. Dito, in a fit of excitement and not wanting to miss the opportunity to finish what he started, had Abdul throw him at the Witch.

At the arrival of the funeral procession, Abdul restrains Dito from attacking the barrier. Dito flips out a little and they have the closest thing to a civil talk that Dito can manage under the circumstances around him. The funeral procession ends, leaving Dito disgusted by the display and the ground erupting in spikes.

He has Abdul throw him yet again, this time getting up close and personal with the Witch. This triggers his ability Intoner Mode wherein all rational thought leaves his mind in exchange for sheer power and bloodlust. Unable to stop attacking the witch, he's stuck in close range when it explodes. Abdul is kind enough to pick him up and take him to be patched up, and the rest of the month has been spent harassing getting to know his fellow Magi.

Character: Dirk Strider
Activity: Earlier in the month Dirk had Diamuird and Taiga collect bug specimens for him, which he then took apart.

After the boss fight Dirk realizes his own helplessness. That's enough to shake him out of his previous stance of not fucking meddling. Now deciding he can't trust the judgement of most of the Magi around him, Dirk decides to take things into his own hands. He spoke up in the lodge meeting about splitting teams by power. And when all was said and done, threatened Pokey Minch and fixing Mettaton's leg.

Realizing the mirrors are compromised, Dirk decides to make a safer method of communication and went ahead and launched it.

Character: Mettaton
Activity: Boy, Mettaton sure did have a very interesting month.

Upon the announcement that he was being given the "choice" to vote to save one life over another, Mettaton has some opinions, and decides he'd rather not vote at all. Pokey stops him from digging too deep a hole this time, though it appears Mettaton's mental state has been tested more than anyone knows. After a cynical conversation with Asriel over the supposed death of Kagaku Yamashita, Mettaton decides that he's not a fan of idle hands and that he wants to participate in making a difference.

That...proves to be a terrible idea, as once Pokey offers the option to go into the dungeon once more, despite the deaths of other magi already, he volunteers. He, Pokey, and Asriel all head down, intending to try and break through the rest of the dungeon, but are met with an ultimatum; should they continue, both girls lives would be forfeited. Mettaton's mental gymnastics finally lead him to decide he's not accepting Pokey's or Asriel's choice to back down, so he forges forward.

He seals the fates of Hoshiko Ohka and Miki Morikawa and ends up trapped in an elevator. Even trapped, he finds himself unrepentant and he let Lilith and the whole of Nyoi-cho know as much. To him, it was about making a statement. To them...he had done something unforgivable.

It took the hatching of the first Witch for him to finally realize what he'd done.

In repentance, he heals Ryoko as much as he can and heeds Kakyoin's order. When Asriel expresses some reckless behavior, he shifts his attention to protect the other monster, putting himself in harm's way to do so, though he escapes too much harm to his person. After some careful planning, he back Asriel up after the young boy uses his most powerful technique and is rendered functionally immobile.

The game ends up changing, and with a full frontal assault from all the magi working together, the final Witch is finally, slowly being brought to heel. Not with out a few mistakes in between though.

In the wake of it all, Mettaton apologizes, though he knows he's not forgiven. With no one else to really depend on and with a quickly darkening Soul Gem, he asks Asriel to hunt with him. Alas, the guilt proves too much for his monster SOUL to handle and he "falls down" shortly after disposing of a weak Nightmare.

Mettaton dies shortly after.

Madoka vowed to save Hoshiko and Miki, but...failed. Badly. She woke up only to find that someone had tipped the odds far against them and caused both girls to be Witched, and she wanted to try and save them. Pray to Arabella, or to at least give Hoshiko and Miki an end to their suffering, and find out why Kagaku was doing what she did.

She did listen to Bonnie, before doing anything reckless (she did piss Ellen off, however), and saved her energy when the Witches finally arrived. And, in the end, in her attempt to finish Hoshiko's Witch off (and inadvertently discovering her powered-up finishing move), as she powered herself full of hope!...she went and died again. She woke up several days later and struggled to deal with everything happening. She also joined Sinewave along with the other magi.

And a promise is a promise, you know? She was very clear that she wanted Kagaku Yamashita dead, but agreed to wait for juuuust a bit so everyone else could try and find another way. Well that plan kinda sucked, and Lilith made a deal with Bonnie to help her forget what a horrible monster she was in exchange for helping kill Kagaku, and y'know... get her memories back and stuff. This new plan was even worse. After spending some time in gem timeout, thinking about her mistakes, Lilith comes back to life to find that it managed to get even worse. Needless to say, Lilith was pissed the heck off and finally came to the decision that Nyoi-cho is full of a bunch of dweebs who don't deserve any of the kindness she's ever shown them... so she let them all deal with a duo witch fight without her. Pettiness reigns supreme.

Also she learned all about technology, which is widely regarded as a mistake.

Before everything completely implodes on her, Ryoko sends her a heartfelt text that doesn't foreshadow anything at all and, well... Taiga proceeds to ignore her advice and finds herself in some hot shit in the middle of the duo witch fight. It's okay though, Laurent saves her poor, stupid butt!

Character: Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (Lancer)
Activity: Having never gotten as close to the missing magi as some of his fellows, Diarmuid found his first gut reaction to the new 'Happiness' website to be anger that whoever created it seemed to have learned from their past mistakes. He could see no easy way to 'game' the system as he and Kakyoin had last time. That doesn't mean that he gave up, instead focusing his attention on trying to gather more information about what was going on around them. He talked to the website administrator about their little infestation, and then took some of the bugs to Dirk for study. Later, he stopped to share an odd theory with Pokey to see if his fellow magi thought there was merit in the idea or if he was just trying too hard to put two and two together. Uncertain that returning to the dungeon was really a good way to go, Diarmuid ended up babysitting the soul gems of a couple of his fellow magi while trying to consolidate information, and eventually, like everyone else, had to make a very difficult choice. Did the team Pokey was leading go down the elevator or did they wait? Despite not being that close to either girl, all of the information they had gathered made the choice much harder for him than he ever would have guessed it would be. In fact in the end, he was unable to decide, choosing to have his vote go in whichever direction Hatsu chose. After all, the girls were her teammates and if anyone should pick their fates, it should be her. His indecision didn't stop him from calling out for a little help, though, just on the off chance it might lead to something.

In the end, though, it seems all his soul searching--and the soul searching of his fellow magi--was for not and they were soon facing not one, but two Witches. Once inside the Labyrinth, he checked in with everyone from where he believed the main body was and did his best to help protect Lucifer when the Witch flagged him for death. He and the others who came to Lucifer's aid may have blocked the initial attack, but they could not block the explosions that followed despite their best efforts. Badly injured once the smoke cleared, Diarmuid managed to grab Lucifer's soul gem from where it fell and then fell back himself, hoping the others would be able to finish what he couldn't.

Once the Witches were defeated, Diarmuid was left soul gem-sitting again until Lucifer woke up. Maybe it was because of his injuries, but he also found himself agreeing with Lemmy more than he should have. Once he was feeling a little better, Diarmuid also found time to ask Dirk about modern technology and even to play around a bit on the new network.

Now he can only hope he is healed up enough to actually be able to help with whatever disaster comes next...

Character: Mohammed Abdul
Activity: Despite arriving long after everything with Cyborg Express, Abdul was constantly on the move this month. A lot of that had to do with the fact that Kakyoin was so close to them, and his friend was stressed beyond belief to see them in such danger. In an effort to do everything he could to help the redhead out, Abdul first found himself getting along oddly well with the site administrator and then used his Tarot card's predictive powers in an attempt to find a direction for them to work at saving the girls from. When Kakyoin's first trip down into the dungeon ended in death, Abdul collected his soul gem from Bonnie and waited along with Pokey for the redhead to awaken. Once Kakyoin woke up, plans were made to use Abdul's Tarot card's predictive powers again, however, when the answer came up with no answer at all, and Kakyoin became determined to return to the dungeon, Abdul ignored his own reservations about going down and accompanied he and Pokey on their excursion with the intention of leaving with their soul gems should things go badly. Things went badly, but not quite in the way they were planning and in the end, it was Pokey retrieving their soul gems and leaving them with Diarmuid for safe keeping until they could regenerate.

It's never fun to wake up to a Witch, let alone two. Neither Abdul or Kakyoin really knew what happened between the time they fell in the dungeon and the time they woke up to the Labyrinth, but that didn't stop them from charging into the battle. Abdul spent a great deal of time investigating, fighting back familiars and protecting Kakyoin as the Witch seemed far too death flag happy toward his friend. Since his magic was almost at full when they went into battle, Abdul was happy to place himself in such danger knowing Kakyoin's soul gem was in poor shape going into things and having no intention of allowing his friend to become Witch number three. As the battle grew more desperate, he tried a very odd and unique tactic at the request of one of his fellow magi, only to have to pull that same magi back out of the fray once the Labyrinth suddenly changed. The magi's reaction was nowhere near what Abdul expected and he found himself both put off and oddly intrigued by the boy's rash attitude. Once the battle began again, they were able to use their strange new tactic to better effect and soon both Witches had fallen.

Abdul was lucky. Despite being tired and low on magic, he made it out of the battle with only minor injuries. The boy he worked with, Dito, was not so luck, and so, instead of seeing Kakyoin back to his home to recover, Abdul took the time to patch Dito up and even took him back to his own home to rest. Once he was done helping Dito, though, Abdul wasted no time making his way to Kakyoin's to talk because he knew his friend would need a strong shoulder to break down on.

After going out to hunt and cleanse his gem, Abdul had a little bit of fun messing around on the new network. He doesn't really know a lot about this kind of thing, but Kakyoin's given him a few tips. That should be enough, right?

Character: Gary Smith
Activity: So when The Choice was first presented to the Magi Gary gave no shits about either one, completely detached from the situation. Yeah it was messed up but voting just seemed like an easy out. At worst, they lose allies. Then the broadcast happened and that vague seemingly threat of what could happen if Kagaku were to live was enough to change Gary's tone. He immediately texted Dave to see where his stance was (and to convince him to side with Gary if he needed) and eventually they both agreed to search. He also spoke with Ellen and they both seemed to agree that waiting before killing Kagaku was dumb. The only other person Gary knew of who had directly spoken to Kagaku aside from himself and Bonnie was the girl who previously worked at her store, and so Gary set out to find her for the second time and question her. The only thing he learned is that she may be found at the school, which was a terrifying thought to Gary. He hadn't wanted to go down there at all - at least not before checking her shop. So he went with Kakyoin and learned some very bad things. All signs pointed towards Kagaku being the administrator. At this point Gary changed his tune and figured that she was too far ahead of them and she was an enemy to take on with time and patience. Going under the school wasn't an option to him. He was adamantly against it and made a mirror post explaining the reasons why it would be a bad idea, knowing full well people would head down there. He knew there would be people who didn't listen but Gary felt control of his fate slipping from his hands so he did what he could.

Obviously that did not work and he berated Bonnie and Kakyoin for going to the dungeon. When Pokey spoke about going down there Gary had an aneurysm and begged Pokey for some kind logical reasoning as to why he wants to go down there. He gave up trying to make an argument against it and Shinoa popped him to tell him not to waste his breath. She started asking about his skills in combat which just cemented his fears of fighting two Witches. In a desperate attempt to gain control of the situation he and Dairmuid spoke to Michiyo again but found out nothing. Then Pokey made a poll and Gary had his second aneurysm casting his vote on the DONT GO DOWN THERE side. Obviously that mattered little as two Witches were created. Gary barely stayed alive by being evasive and angry and cursing like half the town. Oh and Lilith broadcasted his death along with others and in a blind rage he told her if he ever got the chance to destroy her soul gem he would do it in a heartbeat.

At the moment his biggest fear is the people around him fucking up so spectacularly and that he wont survive whatever the outcome is.

Character: Asriel
Activity:

Asriel spent a good part of March not wanting to vote for either girl, being generally unsure of what to do. Right before the cutoff date for the vote happens, Pokey takes Asriel and Mettaton into the dungeon with him in an attempt to reach a newly reachable elevator. They're given a choice to turn back or if they go forward, dooming both girls. After some back and forth planning, reaching out to other magi, they proceed on anyway. They get trapped in the elevator for two days, sentencing the two girls to their deaths as promised. Asriel makes a plea for everyone to call on someone named "Arabella", but nothing comes of it.

The fight with the two Witches happen, and Asriel goes into it with a very poor state of mind. He's more reckless and frantic, attacking one of the Witches when he shouldn't be, and eventually using one of his larger attacks on one of them. This ends up incapacitating him, with Mettaton protecting him for the rest of the fight.

After the fight ends, Asriel warns not to hurt Pokey or Mettaton while also having to own up to his own participation in getting both girls turned into Witches. He fights a Nightmare with Mettaton, in which the robot dies shortly after. Asriel has Pokey and Madoka's help in getting Mettaton back home.

Activity: So Diana basically avoided the whole craziness of this month, the main reason being she's kind of banking on her 'teacher' Azula keeping her safe when stuff goes down but the fire princess went native this month so Diana wasn't going to risk it. Once terrible decisions had been made and everyone was depressed, Diana emerged to try and figure out what happened. Talking to Shinoa gave her a little of the information she needed while a conversation with Bonnie about guilt led into a discussion about how she still doesn't know how to use her powers. She noticed somebody's friend was doing the same thing Azula had been doing so she offered a little help on that. Diana then joined in the with launch of Sinewave, creating what is probably the chat's first meme, before signing up to help Abdul train chickens. Now she's back to bothering Azula at work.

Character: Lemmy Koopa
Activity: Oh god

March started off dumb enough, with Lemmy pretending to be a Karamatsu girl. But things quickly went south, and even though he didn't take it seriously at first, even Lemmy could tell shit was getting real. He didn't go anywhere NEAR the dungeon, but he gleaned enough to know that they were all pretty boned. When the hammer dropped and Kagaku was (apparently) killed, Lemmy was done playing this dumb game, and refused to accept that it was anyone's fault but the mastermind's.

He called out for Arabella... But nobody came.

Now that literally everything was going wrong, Lemmy tried to dissuade Madoka from going into the dungeon, since it only caused people to get dead. At Bonnie's meeting, he threw his hat into the ring, because dang, he really didn't want to die.

Then the witches appeared. Lemmy, bless his heart, actually tried this time, but he ran out of magic and strength and people died anyway.

With everyone upset, infighting, and blaming each other, what did Lemmy do? Well, he yelled at everybody. March was fun.

Character: Pokey Minch
Activity:
Pokey had him a full month this month, emphasized mostly by him trying to help and failing miserably.

He'd begin by trying to give info to Jimmy Hopkins and later catching Kakyoin hanging out around the incense shop. After a little bit he decided to play sentry around the incense shop.

Shenanigans happen. He tries to talk to the admin, and doesn't get any real information. He later manages to piss the admin off enough that he gets sent a hand. No big deal.

Not learning anything, Pokey tries to stop Kakyoin from doing a second run into the dungeon and ends up going with him anyway. That ends with disaster and Pokey being openly mocked for reaching it to the end, and with the choice to either open the door to the elevator or save Kakyoin and Abdul. Feeling that anything else would negate all they'd sacrificed for, Pokey opens the door to the elevator, leading to a third run.

The third run is a fucking shitfest.

After participating in the witch fight, Pokey, emotionally deadened and tired, gives a pathetically shitty accounting for himself. He tries to fill in Kakyoin, has a decent conversation with Bonnie, and fights most everyone else.

Dude is a ship without a rudder trying to figure out where the fuck he's going to go.
