September Event Details / Plotting
For once, the streets are peaceful. There are no incentives being given out for magi-versus-magi conflict, no disasters threatening to destroy the town... It would be a shame if something happened to disturb that peace. The Birth of a Witch Early one morning, something dreadful suddenly comes into being. It doesn't seem to be actively luring victims to their deaths (yet), but it nonetheless is not something that any magi would want to unwittingly come face-to-face with unprepared. For those who do accidentally wander into its territory, the ramifications may be huge. Turning Back the Clock As characters come into contact with new people and new situations, they find themselves shaped by their new experiences. Some grow, and some learn valuable new lessons. Perhaps a cruel villain becomes reformed. Perhaps a selfish, thoughtless opportunist learns to be more considerate of others. Wouldn't it be a shame if all of that were undone? For characters who are afflicted by the Witch's spell, the clock of their character development has been rewound to an earlier point. Physically, they are unchanged; mentally, their memories are untouched. Yet they have been undeniably changed. In Stasis Naturally, as their memories have not been erased in accordance with their new development point, other characters may endeavor to remind them of important development-defining moments in their lives in an attempt to get them to snap out of it. However, while that is the logical thing to attempt, it is not a wise thing to attempt; afflicted characters will respond to any attempts to get them to undergo character development with hostility and violence. The very act of attempting to process the disparity between their life experiences and their behavior will cause them physical pain, as well, meaning that they will be incredibly opposed to thinking deeply about it. Breaking the Spell THIS PORTION OF THE EVENT IS TIME-SENSITIVE. IT WILL GO UP ON THE 22ND AT 12:00 PM EST AND WILL END, AT THE EARLIEST, ON THE 25TH AT 11:59 PM EST. In Summation... » A Witch has appeared in town. » Characters who run into the Witch will have their character development turned back to an earlier canonpoint. Players are free to choose said canonpoint themselves. » Players may opt out of this event by having their characters avoid running into the Witch. » The boss fight goes up on the 22nd. If you have any further questions about this event, please leave them here. |

Ryoko's gonna be unaffected for the most part! She'll be around to make sure that everyone is okay and to ask what the hell is happening. So! She's around to nonchalantly cause problems, as usual.
The Hunter will not be affected.

Ellen will be reverted, as well. Instead of being the cruel, conniving witch who manipulates people into dying for her, she'll be a very lonely and insecure girl who just wants a friend.
I haven't settled on anything concrete for Dave (maybe this Dave??) or Chara yet, but if anyone wants to do anything with either of them, HMU!!

Undertale spoilers
The catch? Is that while that's the last thing he remembers doing, his body and emotions will still be intact. So he's going to make a shift from a cruel, emotionless homicidal flower to a goat monster who can feel all the guilt and horror over what he just did.
So yeah, there's gonna be a huge freakout when it initially happens. And he'll probably have a lot of Flowey's aggression still as he works through his newfound emotions. He'll need someone to calm him down, but if your character is looking to get injured during his panic we can do that too!

Lucifer, meanwhile, will be affected. Once upon a time, long long ago, there was an angel named Helel, and he was a badass who killed demons for the Lord along with his bro, Satan. And now he's stuck in a ten year old's body, so get ready for a mouthy, fire and brimstone little shit who's going to tell you how you all suffer for your terrible terrible sins and suffer rightly so.

But things still need to happen! Or something! Bouncing her off characters that might not seem like themselves might be fun...

-Oh right! And nobody has told him about the witches yet. ;)

With that said, she is likely to attack first and ask questions later if pressed in an uncomfortable situation.

that said, Aradia will be afflicted by the Witch and will revert back to the emotionless, hollow state from when she was dead. She will feel and act invisible despite knowing others can see her and will generally not care about anything other than potentially breaking things. Her responses will likely be monotone, but she'll feel a lot of physical pain if anyone tries to get her to change back to normal.
as for Caesar, I'm going to let him opt out of being afflicted, however I'm so in for this pain train and he'll be around to watch the whole thing unfold and get involved if you want him to see your muse acting differently

If she sees someone straying from their path though and they need to be reminded that they are a good person, I could see her being involved in that as well.
