The end of the month has arrived, and that means it's time for activity check. To pass AC, players need to type up a short paragraph explaining what their character has spent the month doing. Character: Raven Queen
Activity: Upon learning of a weapons shop, Raven grew suspicious, but ultimately decided to go check it out. She also made plans to properly celebrate Madoka's birthday when all as well. And there's always time to greet newbies! But when things started to go south again, she decided to stay and guard the home front. Lastly she and Alice tried to hang out like normal girls do.

Character: Noriaki Kakyoin (AU)
Activity:
Kakyoin's month started off relatively par for the magi course--he made an attempt to organize things before leaving for Tsukudo-cho, which also involved an attempt at tying up a couple of loose ends. Once he got to the city, he met Miyuki Okanoue and a pair of old friends. He also spoke with Sachiko briefly before getting predictably cut off, and got back in touch with Nyoi-cho through the lake. In the days that followed, he gradually started to fall apart along with Bulleta as a side effect of the miasma. Eventually this resulted in the near-complete collapse of his ability to feel emotion and some startling revelations which were relayed to the other side as quickly as possible.

Activity: I was on hiatus until the event began, so while I did participate in that, I'm just going to take the lazy way out.

Character: B.B. Hood
Activity: For the most part, the hunter had been quiet leading up to the trip to Tsukudo-cho. She made an appearance to clear out some familiars in Mettaton's Nightmare, and had left her house to tie up some loose ends. Then, it was on to Tsukudo-cho, having left the other town behind.
For the most part, she was interested in seeing where she'd be working from then on. She had run into Kyouko and had her first run-ins with the Wraiths, picking up some cubes to clean her gem and picked up some diary pieces. From that point on, she wound up meeting the Tsukudo-cho magi, which oddly enough, started with her meeting Kyouko again. She'd even wound up meeting another Darkstalker, Morrigan Aensland. Her troubles wound up not ending, and she found herself meeting with... well... herself.
During her time in Tsukudo-cho, she also wound up speaking to Miyuki Okanoue, determining her to be the diary's writer and relayed the info to Kakyoin.
Character: Ryoko Asakura
Activity: Ryoko spent most of October trying to will herself into her a role that she figured would work better for her: acting as backup for any of the magi that would be handling things in Nyoi-cho and preparing herself for what's coming. She did help out with the game in the dungeon, working with the group and coming up with answers to open up the doors. It turned sour in one instance, as she found herself nearly dying straight away.
She'd go in one more time to help take down the Anamnesis down the narrow hallway.

Character: Shinoa
Activity:
Shinoa started the month attempting to take a break (x): she trained a bit at her house and discovered the weapons shop while shopping, reporting this discovery to the others on the mirror. Also in that post, she visited Madoka at the hospital to heal her injuries. She also visited Adrien to check out his manga collection (x).
She stayed home to hold the fort during the event, helping to guess the 3rd door's password and defeat its anamnesis (x). She did talk to Kafuka over the mirrors (x), but mostly she's had her hands full with the video game from hell.

Character: Adrien Agreste
Activity: At the start of the month Adrien brought Madoka a birthday gift while she was in the hospital and he met Harley and Diarmuid for the first time. Shinoa also came over to read manga. In the middle of the month Adrien joined Madoka, Harley, and Asriel's efforts solving puzzles and in the fight against Mettaton's Nightmare self.
When the time for the Tsukudo-Cho trip arrived Adrien was among those who wished to visit the other town. He spoke with Miyuki and found out a little about the Wraiths. Later when he was exploring he had the shock of running into his father who he believed to be at home with his mother as he asked of Kyuubey. He was so upset he asked for help from the other magi and had a talk with Diarmuid about his problem. He also battled against some Wraiths alongside Haruhi.

Activity: Near the start of the month, Yuugi introduced himself to his fellow magi, and spent most of October being a hermit

Character: Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (Lancer)
Activity: It was a punishment. Diarmuid is pretty sure of that. How else can he explain the coincidence that was him 'going native' for almost a month so soon after winning the game by refusing to play it? At least, that is what he thinks at first, but his confidence in that wavers after talking to some of his fellows during the message he broadcasts over the mirrors and network to let everyone know he is back. Coincidence or not, he doesn't have time to linger on it for long as one of his friends returns to the city, and less happily, there is still the train trip to prepare for.
Oh, and now there is a countdown going on in the dungeon. Great...
Since he doesn't have a train ticket, it doesn't take Diarmuid long to start coordinating communication between those staying behind to explore the dungeon and those leaving on the train. Pokey agrees to help him with his new teleportation ability making it easy for him to quickly relay information. Of course, most of the information passing through Diarmuid is the worrisome variety since the fog around the city reminds him far too much of the video he saw of Caesar during the game and seeing people who aren't suppose to be there is never a good thing. (He agrees with Adrien on that 100%.) With so much information passing through him, it isn't surprising that a discussion between he, Kakyoin, and Kakyoin's mother turns very grim when they put 3 and 10 together to realize what the true nature of the magi in Tsukudo-cho is.
While many of those left in the city leave on the 31st, Diarmuid stays behind. It is not that there aren't those he wants to help, but he doesn't feel comfortable leaving the city and the dungeon alone. There is just too much of a chance something will happen with everyone gone..
Character: Mohammed Abdul
Activity: He's said it before and he will say it again, especially after this month. Abdul is lucky he was brought here when he was, and that's not just because it gave him more to do after he died. He is still battle ready, and this month is putting that to the test. It starts off with talking to Kakyoin about dealing with the dungeon and organizing those who are staying behind, but eventually takes a more somber turn when Kakyoin leaves some very precious items with Abdul to make sure nothing happens to them while he is gone...and if he shouldn't return. Abdul doesn't have a lot of time to think about how much it would hurt to loose a friend so recently regained, though, because soon time is up and it's go time.
Or maybe that should be 'game time.'
At first, he doesn't have much to say and just watches the others work their way through the game's opening. Video games are Kakyoin's thing, not his, but it doesn't take long for his own cautious streak to make itself known. Of course, there is also such a thing as too much caution, and when the game starts to tell the player to do something, it's probably wise to just do it. Once the doors start unlocking, though, Abdul finds himself more comfortable. Whether it is helping Ryoko solve the first riddle, fighting off weird
Enemy Standsmemory creatures, or using his fire to protect others, this is where he excels. Along with helping the others make their way through the doors and monsters, he meets one of the Tsukudo-cho magi, and then checks in with Kakyoin only to find that someone he never thought he would see again is in Tsukudo-cho: Polnareff. At first he is worried about contacting his old friend because there is a chance the contact will open old wounds best left untouched, but in the end he gives in and calls the man he so willingly died to protect. The reunion is an emotional one and Abdul very quickly realizes how foolish his worries are.With the realization as to who and what the magi of Tsukudo-cho are, nothing can keep Abdul in Nyoi-cho. Not only is Kakyoin in great danger and showing no signs of being able to return on his own, but there is a Wraith out there with Polnareff's face on it and that needs to be taken care of. Abdul won't be able to rest until it is.
It's just too bad fate has decided he isn't going to find what he is looking for.

Character: Madoka Kaname
Activity: Madoka spent a good part of the month recuperating from the Witch, and also she celebrated her birthday this month! Of course life still went on, and while Madoka didn't do a ton this month, she still aided in calming Mettaton's ghost and helping Bonnie. When Tsukudo-cho hit the fan she went to the dungeon and in particular helped open Door 3, the loot of which allowed Madoka to learn more about the girl with the eyepatch (who, unknown to her at the moment, has an actual name: Mizuki. But shhhh, let her figure that out).

Character: Lemmy Koopa
Activity:
Lemmy caught wind of Madoka's birthday, and just like that, he took it upon himself to become Nyoi-cho's (un)official birthday clown! He came up with celebrations for Madoka and Asriel, who both had their big days this month!
As far as the actual plot goes, Lemmy found out something was going to happen at the end of the month and reacted in a completely reasonable manner. When he found out Diarmuid didn't have a ticket out of town, he panicked and tried to find a way to sneak him out before the entire place exploded, but relented when he realized the adults had a plan.
He'd been looking forward to visiting Tsukudo-cho for ages, but when he finally got there, it wasn't all it was cracked up to be...

Character: Azula
Activity: After reuniting with one of the Magi that she had allowed to die (Chiaki) Azula kept busy until the dungeon re-opened. Then she helped with the game pushing things along until the time came for her fire powers to help the team overcome some of the monsters hidden in the locked rooms. Finally she traveled to the other town where she rescued Lemmy and spoke with one of the wrathmagi.
Character: Sandy Marko
Activity: Sandy had a very chill month more or less. Keeping busy she's been training with Shinoa in an effort to keep her combat skills sharp (Because she has low self esteem and is somewhat worried about what she has to offer to others.) And then later she joined Bulleta for an adventure into a nightmare.
Character: Harley Quinn
Activity: Recently arrived this month.

Character: Chihaya Kisaragi
Activity:
After recovering from being droned, Chihaya spent quite a bit of time commiserating with Diarmund and trying to unravel why this keeps happening to people, along with Kyuubey's true nature.
Once the magi split, Chihaya remained in Nyoi-cho to help with the game in the dungeon. Not being a gamer herself, she could only offer advice from an outsider's point of view- not all of it was useful, and she found herself increasingly disturbed by the game's narrative. She did manage to meet some new faces, though.
However, when going into battle, she was stymied by her lack of any offensive abilities and her low reflex time, unable to help much during the second door or the sixth door.

Character: Asriel Dreemurr
Activity:
October was all about birthdays, as Asriel discovered that Madoka was spending hers in the hospital and wanted to bring her gifts to cheer her up. This lead to a conversation with Lemmy, in which Asriel revealed that his birthday was in a couple of weeks. This lead to Lemmy firing off fireworks over Asriel's house in a big celebration when Asriel's birthday rolled around.
But it wasn't all fun and cheer, as Asriel quickly learned that his last conversation with Mettaton had some damaging effects. And when Mettaton went Nightmare, Asriel went in along with several other magi to rescue him. Mettaton tried to destroy Asriel's will with some very harsh words about Asriel's history, but with the help of the other magi, they were able to peacefully resolve Mettaton's Nightmare. After the Nightmare was over, Mettaton and Asriel had another talk in which the two tried to work out their differences.
Asriel then boarded a train to Tsukudo-cho, where he found Chara battling Wraiths and an appearance by Dr. Alphys. After a few days, Asriel became possessed by a Wraith.

Character: Mikleo | Tales of Zestiria
Activity: Mikleo has been adjusting back to Nyo-choi since coming back. He's done a lot of reflecting with Magi who's gone "Native".
(Taking care of cosplay stuff has been a struggle so I promise to be more active than this. Greetings from the convention though!)

Character: Pokey Minch
Activity: Until near the end, this was a lazy month for Pokey.
He caught up with Diarmuid a little after the latter had come back from being on hiatus/brainwashed. He later coerced Kakyoin into playing videogames because hey if the dude was going off to die might as well have some fun.
During the event proper Pokey would try and get a rolecall going in Nyoi-cho and would help with helping with what was behind door 4.
Later when the Nyoi-cho cavalry arrived in Tsukudo-cho, Pokey would end up having to confront and kill the wraith of the Kyouko Sakura he had known for two years before arriving in Nyoi-cho. Along with this, he would help Abdul knock some sense into Kakyoin.

Character: Lilith
Activity: Lilith's spent most of her time tending to her chocolate shop, enjoying her newfound importance and emerging to speak to Shinoa after everything that went down, and was happy to find that Gary showed up again! Which means that everything she does has no consequence!

Character: Taiga Aisaka
Activity: Taiga's been quiet, with Ryoko busy with other things, but she did go with her to the dungeon where she kept everything going in the game with Harley, before journeying past Door 5 with Ryoko and Chiaki behind her.

Character: Caesar Zeppeli
Activity: Following another month of endless brooding (well, no but still a lot of past month brooding was stil dragged on), Caesar decided to not mull too much about not going on that train and decided to stay back and see what's going to happen. Then Kakyoin managedto drop a few bombs on him which were totally not ominous at all when eventually he saw his future would-be-daughter and got to talk to her. He didn't actively participate in the dungeon/maze riddles, but he stuck around on the surface to bonk nightmares over the head if needed.
Character: Aradia Megido.
Activity: I have a couple of threads of hers between talking to some people and going on the dungeon quest, but it's really not much at all and I'm having trouble managing irl situations and managing two characters at the time, so I'm letting her go..!
Talk about cutting it close, sorry mods. :c
Character: Mettaton
Activity: Mettaton didn't really get up to much at the start of the month, as he learned something unpleasant about Asriel, and about his home; Asriel had abused the power of SAVE and LOAD, and the human that Mettaton had wished dead was able to SAVE and LOAD as well. He took this to mean that his wish was effectively nullified by an unnatural power which he could not counter, and he fell into despair, becoming a Nightmare.
With the combined efforts of several brave magi, the Nightmare was peacefully defeated, and Mettaton spoke personally with Asriel, seeking to mend their relationship, at least enough that he could find a way to live alongside the only remnant of Home he had left.

Character: Chiaki Nanami
Activity: Chiaki's biggest contribution this month was to play a video game of questionable status. I mean, obviously. She helped the team in Nyoi-cho get the doors unlocked, including an impromptu phone call to Bulleta and to Kakyoin.
When the train to Tsukudo-cho came for themm, she took it and tried to help however many of her friends she could, including Bulleta, Asriel, and her friend-turned-wraith Hiyoko.
