December Event Details / Plotting
On the 17th, the magi of Nyoi-cho will receive a letter at their doorstep, with no sign of who the sender is. “Christmas is coming! Were you Naughty or Nice? Find out at the park soon, and remember: Santa is always watching!” Peace reigns over the town otherwise; throughout the month the air holds a mild chill, and snow barely dusts over the roofs and treetops. The townspeople go about their lives as normal, donning light coats in order to adjust to the lowered temperatures. The Results On the morning of the 23rd, a sign decorated with garland, holly, and mistletoe appears in the park, bearing the names of the residents of Nyoi-cho in scrawling font. One by one, it lists every single inhabitant, following their name up with the most important ruling of December: whether they are Naughty or Nice. As the list goes on, however, it becomes increasingly obvious that something is wrong; for starters, every single non-magi in town is listed as Naughty. On top of that... Well, see for yourself. Surely there's been some mistake, or maybe this is just an elaborate prank of some sort.
If this is a prank, though, it doesn't stop at just the list. Upon returning home, magi will find their doors decorated for the season. The houses of Nice magi are decorated with garland and mistletoe, whereas the houses of Naughty magi are decorated with garland and holly. The decorations, as it it turns out, have unforeseen effects on the magi. Holiday Spirit It may be more subtle in some, but magi who have noticed their new decorations will experience a change in behavior that seems perfectly natural in their eyes, if a bit unreasonable to those around them. Nice magi will feel more compelled to be cheerful and giving, embodying the spirit of the Holidays. Naughty magi, on the other hand, will be compelled to be more dour and mischievous, seeking to ruin the holiday spirit of those around them. Santa Returns Christmas Day arrives, and with it...? In Summation... » On the 17th, the magi receive a letter about being Naughty or Nice. » On the 23rd, the magi receive their judgements and return home to find decorations that alter their behaviors. » They will feel compelled to either fill Nyoi-cho with cheer and joy, or destroy the happiness around them. Play this subtle, or go wild! » Due to the busy time of year, the entire event will be going up at once! Play out Christmas shenanigans at your leisure, and feel free to forward-date throughout the event. » Santa will arrive on the 25th. But for this event Asriel is going to be trashing Christmas decorations, property destruction, going around and playing pranks that range from being an asshole to even dangerous. He's gonna break into shops and steal toys too! Or just... take over a toy store and declare it as his.
Basically it'll be like he's joined Team Skull for a little while.
He'll still come off as sweet and innocent, but he'll occasionally slip in a cruel comment here and there.

Karamatsu was already going to be obnoxious with his holiday celebration, but this is only going to make it worse. I hope you guys aren't expecting to sleep after the 23rd, because he's going to go ahead and just make sure his house can be seen from space with all the decorations he puts on it. He's also going to be getting materials to make everyone in town a present. Everyone. EVERYONE.
B.B. was already going to be pretty damn annoying with cheer as well, but this at least gets her to dial it back. She's going to be more likely to give out actual presents, even to those she doesn't like! Though they probably get handcrafted dolls. Lovingly crafted by her amazing hands. But at least she's cheerful again!
Ryoko on the other hand... well. The holiday blues have hit her, and she's going to be even worse about it. Especially when it comes to seeing others who are happy. After all, how can she be happy if she hasn't been good enough to be considered nice? Who does she even need to impress anymore? So yeah, she's going to be a little meaner this holiday season.

Taiga is the Christmas Angel Cupid of Love and she's going to be absolutely devastated she made it onto the naughty list... she doesn't need to be affected to be miserable and dour... it will break her heart and she will be the saddest tiger. At her worst, she'll just be feeling like none of her efforts to create holiday cheer mattered, so why did she bother to pretend she could be "Good"?
Lilith is probably gonna give the whole town chocolates. Except Bonnie. She doesn't get anything. Lilith doesn't really understand human holidays, but it will make people happy and then they'll like her more and then maybe they'll hate Bonnie!!! It all works in her favor.
Hiyoko loves shitty non-Japanese holidays, right? Right??? Nah, she hates it but she's still going to be ridiculously cheerful for reasons unknown to her. Making people smile is her specialty!!!! She loves seeing the people around her happy! ....Hiyoko will be disgusted with herself at the end.
Diarmuid Ua Duibhne & Mohammed Abdul
Diarmuid remembers well having to kill 'Santa' when they first arrived and with his empathy, he is going to notice very quickly when those urges to start acting out of character set in. He will have to fight tooth and nail to keep his head around him, but he will prooobably be all right.
On the other hand, this is already a bad time of year for Abdul, even if he is trying to remain cheerful for Kakyoin's sake. Good news from his vision aside, he's already been harassed by a well-meaning but far too aggressive holiday attendant and just may need someone to stop him from burning down Christmas before this is all said and done. If anyone needs a little fire in their mischievous Christmas plans, he's your arsonist. ;-P

For this event, he's going to hate Christmas, be the most mean-spirited asshole on anyone's holiday positive posts, and also probably join Asriel in some unnecessary vandalism, including setting at least one Christmas tree on fire.
If anyone tries to change his mind btw, his response will be deeply personal and extremely negative. Not even entirely untrue, because he's going to MAD project that he'll never have Christmas with his friends/family ever again.

Shinoa is gonna try to bake things/do other cheery-up things for the naughty kids to make them feel better, feeling suddenly more compassionate and civic-minded than she usually is. Except she can't bake. Her house goes up in flames and the pastries are all burnt. Here's an excuse to get angry at her if you'd like.
She might even apologize to Bonnie, should she pick a fight with Bon between now and Christmas.
Laurent will be very confused at this sudden influx of good feeling, but he's not about to look a gift(?) horse in the mouth. He might give everyone slightly burnt books from the library- those with their covers burnt or basically are un-damaged enough to be still entirely readable, but has been put aside because the kids don't wanna borrow slightly burnt books. Eventually he might realize that the namelist and decorations were fishy business all along, but with the event being two days and him being distracted being a Good Citizen (TM) it night not happen before Santa.

that said, he's going to be pretty chipper. as i mentioned in plurk, i would love if he and his brother got into a friendly Christmas War over who can be the nicest/has the best holiday-themed house/etc, and you're all free to be stuck right in the middle of that. if you're Osomatsu's neighbors, you're going to be receiving homemade gingerbread................ which is awful because he's never cooked a damned thing in his life.
